Basic Facts and Information

The Library of ISD seeks to support the school’s program of academic and personal development by enabling students to become independent and effective users of ideas and information.

The Senior School Library and its annexe, the LRC, serve the needs of the students in Grades 6 to 12. The Library mainly serves students in Grades 6 to 10, while the LRC serves Grades 11 and 12. Resources have been moved from the Library to the LRC. Both facilities offer access to print, audio-visual, and online resources. Several class groups can be accommodated. The Library has approximately 320 sq. metres of floor space and the LRC approximately 200 sq. metres.
