Internet Detective is a useful tool for finding out how to use Internet-based resources, and decide whether they are 'good', 'bad' or 'ugly'. A great website for everyone who has to do Internet-based assignments.

EasyBib is available as an app to download. Using the camera on your iPad2, hover over the barcode (ISBN) on the back cover of a book. The app automatically scans the barcode, and creates an MLA citation, which can be copied, emailed, or filed.

Genius Scan (€0.79 ) Genius Scan is a basic scanning app that lets you scan a document to jpg or PDF. The file can be emailed or uploaded to Dropbox, Evernote and Google Docs. It costs 99-cents and brings the functionality of a copier to your iPad. There's also a free version that doesn't support documents uploads and contains ads.
